TECO Electric & Machinery Co., Ltd. (TWSE: 1504) held an official signing ceremony at its Taipei headquarters on 25 May 2026, completing the acquisition agreement with Dynaciate Engineering Sdn Bhd (now TECO NXG).
The agreement was signed by TECO Chairman Morris Li and Dynaciate CEO Ng Kim Thiea, with management teams from both companies in attendance.
About the agreement
The transaction involves an investment of approximately MYR 200 million. On completion, TECO will hold approximately 78% equity in the company.
Under the agreement, the company will serve as TECO’s global manufacturing hub for modular data centre (MDC) production, and as an engineering hub supporting TECO’s expansion across Southeast Asia, particularly in data centre infrastructure projects.
Bringing two sets of strengths together
The partnership combines our modular prefabrication and engineering execution capabilities with TECO’s strengths in electromechanical integration and energy systems for data centre solutions.
At the signing ceremony, TECO noted that the collaboration has already shortened data centre delivery timelines to as little as six months, an advantage for clients that need to bring capacity online quickly.
A new phase of growth
Since 2002, the company has built its experience in engineering, steel fabrication and large-scale industrial projects for multinational clients. In 2025, it entered the data centre engineering market, taking on projects for international cloud service providers.
Speaking at the ceremony, CEO Ng Kim Thiea said the company is honoured to partner with TECO and to enter a new phase of growth together, with both companies expected to expand across Southeast Asia and develop more competitive infrastructure solutions for the data centre industry.
Our facilities
The company’s headquarters and manufacturing facilities are in the Pasir Gudang Industrial Area, Johor. The site covers approximately 36,000 square metres, with a total building area of around 14,000 square metres, including eight production buildings for stainless steel and carbon steel fabrication.
